Mahesh Babu’s full name is Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu, he is the son of the late Mr. Super Star Krishna, he was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu on 9 August 1975, Krishna belongs to Burripalem which is in Andhra Pradesh Guntur District.
He completed his schooling at St. Bede’s Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School Chennai, and he completed his graduation education at Loyola College Chennai he completed his bachelor’s degree in commerce.
He mostly sends his childhood in Chennai Tamilnadu, Tollywood industry used to be there in Madras before it shifted to Hyderabad, so his father used to work in Madras.
Mahesh is the fourth of five children to Krishna And Indira Devi, he has 1 elder brother Ramesh Babu (who recently passed away), and elder sisters Padmavati, Manjula, and one younger sister Priyadarshini.

Acting Career
When Mahes was four years old he went to see a movie set with his father, the film called Needa (1979), his elder brother was starring in that movie under the direction of Dasari Narayana Rao, so Mahesh was taken by his father Krishna to see that movie shooting.
In that movie, Mahesh acted as a child actor under Dasari Naryana’s Direction, so it was his first debut film as a child artist this film was released in 1979 after this film Mahesh acted in many movies as a child artist.
He was requested to act in many films like Poratam(1983) which was directed by Kodi Rama Krishna, in many films he shared his screen with his elder brother Ramesh Babu and his father Super Star Krishna films like Koduku Diddina Kapuram, Gudachari 117, Mugguru Kodukulu.
Mahesh acted in duel roles in the movie called Koduku Diddina Kapuram with his father, it was a hit movie, after these movies he went to concentrate on his studies.

Mahesh is very kind to people, he became a real superstar by stepping forward to help people who are in health issues, in 2013 signed as an ambassador of the Goodwill Heal a Child Foundation.
The aim of this foundation is to help parents who are in need of their ill children, Mahesh donates 30%from his income to charities, 2014 in October he donated to the Andhra Pradesh CM Relief fund about ₹25 lakhs to help in reconstructing the destroyed areas during the Hudud Cyclone.
He also adopted his own village Burripalem which was his father’s native place also, he started a drainage system and reconstructed damaged roads in Burripalem, Mahesh consulted Telangana Ruala developed minister K.T Rama Rao (2015) to adopt another village called Siddapur which is in Mahabubnagar.

Mahesh and his wife Namratha founded a foundation called Mahesh Babu Foundation, his foundation is helping parents which their newborn children who have heart disease.
This foundation also helps poor children with their education, Mahesh Babu Foundation’s main motive is to help newborns with heart disease, poor children’s education, and scholarship programs.
The Mahesh Babu Foundation helped with 1000 plus heart surgeries for newborn babies who suffer from heart problems, and it also conducted more than 50 medical camps and more than 50 plus scholarship campaigns for students who are below poverty.
