Geeta Phogat is a well known and popular freestyle wrestler. She won India’s first gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She has taken training under her father Mahavir Singh Phogat and her style of wrestling is Freestyle. Geeta is also the first Indian female wrestler to have qualified for the Olympic Summer Games. She will be soon seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi. The Bollywood movie Dangal is based on the life of Phogat’s and will show what living your dream means and the happiness one gets. The role of Geeta is played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and her father’s role is played by Aamir Khan.

Geeta Phogat’s hometoen is Haryana. She take birth on 15 December 1988. She belongs to a Jatt family. Her father name is Mahavir Singh Phogat. Her father is a former wrestler. She has done her education from Mahavir Dayanand University.
