Early Life

Ramanaidu Daggubati was born on December 14, 1984, in Madras present-day Chennai, his roots are from Karamchedu, Chirala, and Prakasam District, but his grandfather was very passionate about films so he went to Madras and settled there.

Later film industry was shifted to Hyderabad so the family was also shifted to Hyderabad, Rana is the nephew of hero Venkatesh Daggbati.

Rana completed his schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram Chennai, he later completed his Graduation in Industrial Photography.

He also has two younger siblings, Abhiram Daggubati, and Malavika Daggubati.

Personal Life

There are rumours that he dated actress Trisha Krishnan but there is no certain proof of their relationship they confirmed that they are really good friends and nothing more than that is happening between them.

Then he met Mehikaa Bajaj in 202 May she’s the founder of Dew Drop Design Studios after dating for a few months they got married in 2020 on August 8 during corona pandemic.

They celebrated their marriage with very few relatives and lose friends due to the pandemic.

Film Career

Rana entered the film industry with his debut movie in Telugu Leader, which was released in 2010, and the movie was directed by natural director Shekhar Kammula he also introduced many actors to the industry.

He won CineMAA Award for Best Male Debut and Filmfare Award for best male debut for Leader movie, he also made his debut in the Bollywood industry with Dum Maaro Dum.

Later he only focused on Telugu films and made many good movies, his biggest project was Baahubali, and he mesmerised with his acting in Baahubali.
