She started her playback singing career from Bollywood Movie Ishaqzaade with song Pareshaan in 2012, for this song she won many awards as Best Female Playback Singer. She is best known for playback singer in Hindi and Marathi movies. She sang songs like Darru Desi for movie “Cocktail” , Balam Pichkari for movie “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” , Lat Lag Gayee for movie ‘Race 2″ and song like Aga Bai for movie “Aiyyaa” in 2012. She was also seen as a Judge in Indian Idol Junior for auditions at Sony Entertainment Television ‘s Reality singing show. She has also sang songs for Tamil movies.

Her parents have encouraged her a lot to emerge in the field of music. Uma Kholgade, her mother is a renowned singer and is also a theatre personality.
